In the 10th match minute, HavanKimeYabanci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reha Yurdaer to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Namık Saik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge-Luis Ferri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Duman Emektar made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Namık Saik. Denta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Feyyaz Orkan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Reha Yurdaer led 25 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Denta's Mustafa Namık Saik became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Ertunç Tayguner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erdoğan Özonder. HavanKimeYabanci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertunç Tayguner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge-Luis Ferri in the 34th minute of play forced Denta's goalkeeper Mustafa Namık Saik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şansal Yoruk hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in HavanKimeYabanci's zone, Ertunç Tayguner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erdoğan Özonder came out of the goal and Ertunç Tayguner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Namık Saik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reha Yurdaer in the 37th minute of play. Denta's Mustafa Namık Saik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Ho in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Denta got a freekick which was hit by Songurhan Nursal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge-Luis Ferri in the 44th minute of play forced Denta's goalkeeper Mustafa Namık Saik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reha Yurdaer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Ho to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Namık Saik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge-Luis Ferri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Ho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Namık Saik having to make a save. Erdoğan Özonder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
