The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aykan Atay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avni Ekvan went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Cabbar Cengaver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, HATAY FB's goal looked a bit too open when Avni Ekvan came free, but Aykan Atay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of HATAY FB booed when KuRtLaR VaDiSi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Baybars Topçam didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Cabbar Cengaver fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aykan Atay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Baybars Topçam in the 17th minute of play. Aykan Atay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onuralp Kongar in the 18th minute of the match. That made the score 1-4 in the 38 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, HATAY FB's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Baybars Topçam came free, but Aykan Atay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46thth minute HATAY FB's Fazlı Oktay made a couple of brazen moves and fired away a shot to the left hand side of KuRtLaR VaDiSi's goalie, Hasan Can Teber, understanding what was about to happen, managed to get hold of the ball just before it went behind the net. A nice save by Hasan Can Teber. HATAY FB were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after KuRtLaR VaDiSi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arda Baybars Topçam was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to HATAY FB getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cabbar Cengaver hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Arda Baybars Topçam managed to get in a good position for a shot. KuRtLaR VaDiSi's supporters rose to their feet, but Arda Baybars Topçam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykan Atay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cabbar Cengaver in the 69th minute of play forced KuRtLaR VaDiSi's goalkeeper Hasan Can Teber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Onuralp Kongar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Atay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, KuRtLaR VaDiSi's Aykan Atay threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Onuralp Kongar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 87 minutes into the game, KuRtLaR VaDiSi's Onuralp Kongar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aykan Atay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Avni Ekvan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Aykan Atay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KuRtLaR VaDiSi. 92 minutes into the match, Arda Baybars Topçam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aykan Atay. HATAY FB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arda Baybars Topçam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. The HATAY FB supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KuRtLaR VaDiSi's performance. The match ended with a win for KuRtLaR VaDiSi.
