Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Cafer Hızlan started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, HATAY FB's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Cafer Hızlan came free, but Aykan Atay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aykan Atay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Cafer Hızlan went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aykan Atay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cafer Hızlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cabbar Cengaver came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the HATAY FB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cabbar Cengaver couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes, Necaettin Hayal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karakocan and the HATAY FB players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Karakocan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of HATAY FB:s goal. Sarper Özguven walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Fazlı Oktay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Karakocan's Raşit Renan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aykan Atay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fazlı Oktay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serhan Bayraktaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Fazlı Oktay sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd match minute, Karakocan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdurrahim Tülün to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Oğuzer Tutuş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Cafer Hızlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, HATAY FB's goal looked a bit too open when Raşit Renan came free, but Aykan Atay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fazlı Oktay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Gürbüz Neşet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karakocan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HATAY FB the free kick. Gürbüz Neşet hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Aşık Yeğin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The HATAY FB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karakocan were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cabbar Cengaver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oğuzer Tutuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykan Atay having to interfere. Fazlı Oktay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, HATAY FB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baha Rasih to maneuver through the defense. Aykan Atay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necaettin Hayal in the 60th minute of the match. Ali Cafer Hızlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykan Atay having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karakocan's goalkeeper Halit Fahri Kılıçhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Serhan Bayraktaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aşık Yeğin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aykan Atay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by HATAY FB's Cabbar Cengaver. But to his dismay, Cabbar Cengaver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Karakocan's Necaettin Hayal got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Necaettin Hayal off the ground. After a rather tough play, Karakocan's Necaettin Hayal got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th match minute, Karakocan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdurrahim Tülün to maneuver through the defense. Cabbar Cengaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Kılıçhan having to interfere. Aykan Atay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raşit Renan in the 95th minute. Raşit Renans short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Aykan Atay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chants of Karakocan echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as HATAY FB had held the ball for most of the match.
