Mustafa Namık Saik came out of the goal and Raşit Renan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raşit Renan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Karakocan's Şakir Talaykan got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Oğuzer Tutuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raşit Renan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Namık Saik having to interfere. Mustafa Namık Saik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cafer Hızlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ertunç Tayguner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Kılıçhan having to interfere. Ali Cafer Hızlan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Karakocan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mustafa Namık Saik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raşit Renan in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Ertunç Tayguner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Fahri Kılıçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karakocan's Halit Fahri Kılıçhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertunç Tayguner in the 28th minute of play. Oğuzer Tutuş charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oğuzer Tutuş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oğuzer Tutuş kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ali Cafer Hızlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karakocan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Cafer Hızlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Namık Saik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ertunç Tayguner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertunç Tayguner in the 44th minute of play forced Karakocan's goalkeeper Halit Fahri Kılıçhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ertunç Tayguner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ertunç Tayguner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halit Fahri Kılıçhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Mahir Çelikhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Namık Saik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aşık Yeğin went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cafer Hızlan in the 63rd minute of play forced Denta's goalkeeper Mustafa Namık Saik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Cafer Hızlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes of play, Karakocan's Ali Cafer Hızlan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Namık Saik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ertunç Tayguner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Halit Fahri Kılıçhan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mustafa Namık Saik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raşit Renan in the 80th minute of the match. Mustafa Namık Saik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raşit Renan in the 84th minute of play. Ertunç Tayguner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Kılıçhan having to interfere. Ali Cafer Hızlan kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ertunç Tayguner might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Halit Fahri Kılıçhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ertunç Tayguner ran back to his position shaking his head.
