Spectators: 6598 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aykan Atay came out of the goal and Coşkun Şerif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cabbar Cengaver in the 11th minute of play forced TOKATSPOR's goalkeeper Ardahan Bartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Huly struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Aykan Atay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TOKATSPOR. Melih Durkaya kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Cabbar Cengaver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Serhan Bayraktaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ardahan Bartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Nevsal in the 33rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Huly was the one to do the kick off. Fazlı Oktay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ardahan Bartu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ardahan Bartu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serhan Bayraktaroğlu in the 64th minute of the match. Melih Durkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ardahan Bartu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HATAY FB's Melih Durkaya got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of HATAY FB booed when TOKATSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coşkun Şerif didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Hasan Nevsal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HATAY FB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Nevsal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. HATAY FB were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
