Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ali Cafer Hızlan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cabbar Cengaver struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HATAY FB. Aykan Atay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Cafer Hızlan in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Cabbar Cengaver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serhan Bayraktaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Kılıçhan having to interfere. Serhan Bayraktaroğlu's late challenge caught a Karakocan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serhan Bayraktaroğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes HATAY FB got a freekick which was hit by Serhan Bayraktaroğlu. HATAY FB's Aykan Atay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save HATAY FB from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Karakocan's zone, Cabbar Cengaver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan came out of the goal and Cabbar Cengaver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gürbüz Neşet might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aykan Atay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gürbüz Neşet ran back to his position shaking his head. Hasan Nevsal hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Karakocan's Ali Cafer Hızlan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aykan Atay. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cabbar Cengaver, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cabbar Cengaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Kılıçhan having to interfere. Melih Durkaya struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HATAY FB. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cabbar Cengaver was the one to do the kick off. HATAY FB's Aykan Atay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Renan in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, HATAY FB's Hasan Nevsal got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th match minute, Karakocan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raşit Renan to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, HATAY FB's goal looked a bit too open when Raşit Renan came free, but Aykan Atay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şakir Talaykan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Cabbar Cengaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Kılıçhan having to interfere. If Serhan Bayraktaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Ali Cafer Hızlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karakocan and the HATAY FB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aykan Atay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cafer Hızlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fazlı Oktay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Kılıçhan having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Cabbar Cengaver fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 85th minute, Serhan Bayraktaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aykan Atay came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Karakocan's Ali Cafer Hızlan. But to his dismay, Ali Cafer Hızlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cabbar Cengaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Cabbar Cengaver sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, HATAY FB's goal looked a bit too open when Raşit Renan came free, but Aykan Atay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
