In the 34th minute Eyüp Yöntem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Sadullah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fazıl Çakıroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sefa Ulusoy in the 41st minute of play. Eyüp Yöntem struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Recep Sadullah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almus. If Orbay Rızkullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eyüp Yöntem was the one to do the kick off. Eyüp Yöntem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Sadullah having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Avni Kabadayı put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Recep Sadullah.
