Spectators: 7324 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 100) İshak Guftar made the kick off and thus started the match. Bedri Tezcan charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedri Tezcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of MalatyaSpor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arsenal:s goal. Volkan Namal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deniz Gulabi in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hafız Onuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Hafız Onuralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökçe Şemsifer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deniz Gulabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkan Namal having to interfere. In the 20th minute İshak Guftar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçe Şemsifer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilgaz Uğursoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkan Namal having to interfere. After 30 minutes, İshak Guftar made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. MalatyaSpor's Gökçe Şemsifer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gökçe Şemsifer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hafız Onuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Kıraç Yılhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MalatyaSpor the free kick. After 34 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Kıraç Yılhan. Gökçe Şemsifer came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal's Hafız Onuralp. But to his dismay, Hafız Onuralp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to MalatyaSpor getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Muhsin Hızır hit a great ball. Hafız Onuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gökçe Şemsifer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Bayhan Hüryaşar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Arsenal were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deniz Gulabi made a kick off. Volkan Namal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilgaz Uğursoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilgaz Uğursoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkan Namal having to interfere. If Deniz Gulabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedri Tezcan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as İshak Guftar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gökçe Şemsifer. That made the score 1-4 in the 61 minute of play. The supporters of Arsenal booed when MalatyaSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağızhan Açıkgöz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hafız Onuralp in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gökçe Şemsifer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ilgaz Uğursoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilgaz Uğursoy in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volkan Namal saved Arsenal from getting behind. Sufi Ortun kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Deniz Gulabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The MalatyaSpor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arsenal's performance. The match ended with a win for Arsenal.
