In the 5th minute Lefter Eskici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İbrahim Efe Kutluay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burç Sati kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. İbrahim Efe Kutluay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lefter Eskici in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Southern in the North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürel Baler to maneuver through the defense. İbrahim Efe Kutluay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hazar Ünal's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Alsancak SK's Hazar Ünal got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yenal Çapan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Alsancak SK got a freekick which was hit by Yenal Çapan. After 26 minutes of play, Southern in the North's Dinçer Esir made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Arif Sarpkan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Hazar Ünal came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Alsancak SK fans jumped to their feet.
