The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yusuf Ziya Kayaalp during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Adakli's Yusuf Ziya Kayaalp got a free kick in the 4th minute. Günay Tongar's late challenge caught a Adakli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Günay Tongar helped the player get up and apologised. Günay Tongar kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Bahattin Irmak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Şafak Tublek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When İnanç Yekta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 12 minutes had been played. Özalp Razi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th minute, Sancarbey Kandemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yusuf Ziya Kayaalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasan Hüseyin Savtur hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bahattin Irmak might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şafak Tublek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bahattin Irmak ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Gülnar booed when Adakli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Toktaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mümtazer Çelikoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Cahit Kunt in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Gülnar getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Türker Özsan hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Bahattin Irmak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adakli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahattin Irmak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gülnar's zone, Bahattin Irmak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şafak Tublek came out of the goal and Bahattin Irmak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Yusuf Ziya Kayaalp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şafak Tublek. The goal made the score 1-0. After 39 played minutes Adakli got a freekick which was hit by Adnan Toktaş. In the 41st minute, Hasan Hüseyin Savtur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şafak Tublek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Ziya Kayaalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şafak Tublek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahattin Irmak in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hüseyin Cahit Kunt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Özalp Razi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şafak Tublek having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Fedai Cerit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sancarbey Kandemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hasan Hüseyin Savtur fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gülnar's protests and gave Hasan Hüseyin Savtur a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahattin Irmak in the 61st minute of play forced Gülnar's goalkeeper Şafak Tublek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Ensar Bekdemir charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Ensar Bekdemir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Şafak Tublek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamer İpekli in the 71st minute of play. Bahattin Irmak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th match minute, Gülnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuncay Kural to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Adakli's Özalp Razi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şafak Tublek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Şafak Tublek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Namık Ergüner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Namık Ergüner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şafak Tublek having to interfere. Adakli walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
