When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ahmet Ozan Şahbaz sped through Armutçuk Fk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cüneyd Özak. Şükrü Vural showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Felix in the 16th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Lara's Atilla Tarkan Evirgen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Cüneyd Özak made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ahmet Ozan Şahbaz sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Armutçuk Fk's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Tarkan Evirgen came free, but Cüneyd Özak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Atilla Tarkan Evirgen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cüneyd Özak. That made the score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. Yüksel Enver's late challenge caught a Lara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yüksel Enver helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Armutçuk Fk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Cüneyd Özak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ozan Şahbaz in the 44th minute. Atilla Tarkan Evirgen scored 5-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cüneyd Özak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aytunç Peyami made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Atilla Tarkan Evirgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilla Tarkan Evirgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyd Özak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 51st match minute, Armutçuk Fk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ecevit Eryaman to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilla Tarkan Evirgen in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cüneyd Özak saved Armutçuk Fk from getting behind. Dimitris Felix who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Şükrü Vural when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Ozan Şahbaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cüneyd Özak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
