Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arif Nihat Ciray started the match with the kick off. Abdulhamit Bala charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulhamit Bala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kapalicarsi getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Abdulhamit Bala hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Kütahyaspor's Muzaffer Kadirsah threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Akil Yıldızhan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kapalicarsi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Akil Yıldızhan scored to the left of an out of position Muzaffer Kadirsah, making the score, 1-1. Muzaffer Kadirsah made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Onuralp Direnç sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Baysal Karataş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Kapalicarsi's goalkeeper Muzaffer Kadirsah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baysal Karataş. In the 34th minute, Onuralp Direnç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kütahyaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Muzaffer Kadirsah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onuralp Direnç in the 38th minute. Onuralp Direnç succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 40th playminute. In the 43rd minute, Orhan Şükrü hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Hotman Aksan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kütahyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hotman Aksan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akil Yıldızhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Muzaffer Kadirsah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akil Yıldızhan made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Onuralp Direnç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Muzaffer Kadirsah was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Muzaffer Kadirsah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akil Yıldızhan in the 60th minute of play. Hotman Aksan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Akil Yıldızhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Muzaffer Kadirsah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Onuralp Direnç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muzaffer Kadirsah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muzaffer Kadirsah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akil Yıldızhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Onuralp Direnç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muzaffer Kadirsah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onuralp Direnç in the 84th minute of play forced Kapalicarsi's goalkeeper Muzaffer Kadirsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from İsa İpekçi in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kapalicarsi's Abdulhamit Bala. 97 minutes into the match, Kapalicarsi's goal looked a bit too open when Doğan Gezer came free, but Muzaffer Kadirsah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Kütahyaspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
