Ilgaz Başer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Özbek Urandu. Ilgaz Başer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Fatih Seylab in the 11th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Ilgaz Başer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ilgaz Başer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Fatih Seylab in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Aydın Celilay came free, but Ilgaz Başer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilgaz Başer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baturalp Yağızkan in the 18th minute. Baturalp Yağızkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Aydın Celilay came free, but Ilgaz Başer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenk Tosun in the 46th minute of play forced SULTANBEYLİ SK's goalkeeper Agah Üstam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cenk Tosun was the one to do the kick off. GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's Ilgaz Başer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cem Serdinç in the 96th minute of play. SULTANBEYLİ SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
