Kemalettin Refik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeynel Atabey in the 8th minute of play. Teoman Osman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teoman Osman in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batu Samir saved Darbeli Matkap from getting behind. Yusuf Ziya Ersal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batu Samir having to interfere. Batu Samir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akif Mete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Ceylanspor's Reis Binışık nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batu Samir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ceylanspor's Reis Binışık got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batu Samir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Ersal, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeynel Atabey in the 27th minute of play forced Ceylanspor's goalkeeper Kemalettin Refik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Reis Binışık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kemalettin Refik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruhi Mithat in the 29th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Babür Baykut hit a great ball. When Zeynel Atabey fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darbeli Matkap's protests and gave Zeynel Atabey a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Darbeli Matkap getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Zeynel Atabey hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Reis Binışık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batu Samir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batu Samir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teoman Osman in the 84th minute of the match. Vahap Çağili scored 2-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kemalettin Refik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Reis Binışık got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Yusuf Ziya Ersal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceylanspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Yusuf Ziya Ersal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batu Samir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ceylanspor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ceylanspor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
