Arda Baybars Tezcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erim Hekimbaşı in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Aydintepe getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ahmet Emir Turbay hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, Değirmenköy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergen Taştekin to maneuver through the defense. Calle Rudberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osman Ali Andaç's late challenge caught a Değirmenköy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osman Ali Andaç helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Değirmenköy FC a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Acar Ünseven, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aydintepe's Arda Baybars Tezcan. 1-0. After 17 played minutes Değirmenköy FC got a freekick which was hit by Baki Sermet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erim Hekimbaşı in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arda Baybars Tezcan saved Aydintepe from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, Acar Ünseven threw the ball into play from the sideline. Aydintepe's Zekeriya Bahadıroğlu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aydintepe's Arda Baybars Tezcan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Aydintepe from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Calle Rudberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice moves Calle Rudberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Arda Baybars Tezcan however easily saved by the left post. In the 47th match minute, Değirmenköy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erim Hekimbaşı to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güralp Kani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erim Hekimbaşı in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arda Baybars Tezcan saved Aydintepe from getting behind. In the 56th minute Calle Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Baybars Tezcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Aydintepe got a freekick which was hit by Semih Özgun. After 60 played minutes Aydintepe got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Ülmen. Naci Yazgı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Mazhar Canıtez made a huge save. Erim Hekimbaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Arda Baybars Tezcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aydintepe's Arda Baybars Tezcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Rudberg in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute Değirmenköy FC were awarded a corner. Acar Ünseven went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th minute, Calle Rudberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Orhan Tezer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arda Baybars Tezcan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Erim Hekimbaşı sped through Aydintepe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arda Baybars Tezcan. Ali Vedat Vaha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazhar Canıtez having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Mustafa Orhan Tezer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st match minute, Değirmenköy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Orhan Tezer to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Güralp Kani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aydintepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güralp Kani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Değirmenköy FC were the better team. Değirmenköy FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
