Gani İstikbal started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Genç Atsızlar getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. İlbey Ötüken hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efekan Tanyıldız in the 9th minute of play forced Genç Atsızlar's goalkeeper Özdemir Sökmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Tugay Mazhar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Özdemir Sökmen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 15 minutes into the game, one of Gölköy JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hüseyin Rahmi Enfa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Göksun Onursan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Efekan Tanyıldız fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gölköy JK's protests and gave Efekan Tanyıldız a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the match, Efekan Tanyıldız dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Özdemir Sökmen, 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Genç Atsızlar's goal looked a bit too open when Efekan Tanyıldız came free, but Özdemir Sökmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Genç Atsızlar's Özdemir Sökmen got control of the ball when Cenap Tuğser tried to sneak it across the goal line. Genç Atsızlar's Özdemir Sökmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efekan Tanyıldız in the 37th minute of play. Özdemir Sökmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keramettin İslam in the 39th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Efekan Tanyıldız kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Özdemir Sökmen. That made the score 3-2 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

But to his dismay, Efekan Tanyıldız quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Gölköy JK's Göksun Onursan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Gölköy JK from getting a goal against them. Göksun Onursan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gani İstikbal in the 94th minute of play.
