The supporters of Genç Atsızlar booed when Kocaali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesur Deren didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gani İstikbal couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sermet Onural was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Sermet Onural ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özdemir Sökmen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Saadettin Çetinsu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Özdemir Sökmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Necati Şenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Mirza Yavuzalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
