In the 12th minute, Güven Mithat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atalan Kutlucan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lefter Şahtürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hayrettin Necati hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Berkay Canver fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferizli's protests and gave Berkay Canver a yellow card for diving instead. Berkay Canver kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Ulaş Çinuçin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ѕoɴѕ oғ ѕυɴ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferizli the free kick. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Özkan Işılay sped through ѕoɴѕ oғ ѕυɴ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atıf Yalgın. Atıf Yalgın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özkan Işılay in the 40th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
