Fikirtepe's Derviş Tezay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Berki in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, ISIKTEPE SC's Şanver Sargut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Derviş Tezay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fikirtepe's zone, Şanver Sargut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Derviş Tezay came out of the goal and Şanver Sargut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kutlualp Cebe during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kutlualp Cebe hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes, Acar Salman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fikirtepe and the ISIKTEPE SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fikirtepe's Acar Salman got a free kick in the 27th minute. Derviş Tezay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Berki went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Derviş Tezay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şanver Sargut in the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demircan Gökçek in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Derviş Tezay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Fikirtepe's Aydın Gorgulov got a free kick in the 37th minute. Fikirtepe's Aydın Gorgulov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yıldırım Tamkut, made in the 41st minute of the game. Nivaldo Lemos made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Kutlualp Cebe sent off a good shot on target. Erwan Lacroux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derviş Tezay having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Şanver Sargut made a precise shot to the right of Derviş Tezay. Fikirtepe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şanver Sargut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şanver Sargut succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 54th playminute. In the 60th minute Demircan Gökçek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derviş Tezay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Fikirtepe defense, Nurkan Kudret kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Derviş Tezay. The Fikirtepe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derviş Tezay should have stopped the shot. Erwan Lacroux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derviş Tezay having to interfere. The supporters of ISIKTEPE SC booed when Fikirtepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aydın Gorgulov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Fikirtepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlualp Cebe to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Berki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Derviş Tezay firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 81st play minute Şanver Sargut came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Derviş Tezay. 0-9. Erwan Lacroux was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Fikirtepe's Derviş Tezay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Fikirtepe from getting a goal against them. Yıldırım Tamkut kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded ISIKTEPE SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fikirtepe.
