The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Cayirli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Namık Kemal Öktuna came free, but Akgün Özoğuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziya Soysal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faik Bilgen's late challenge caught a Bayat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faik Bilgen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bayat booed when Cayirli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faik Bilgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Bayat's goal looked a bit too open when Faik Bilgen came free, but Mustafa Ali Sadiray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Bayat's Namık Kemal Öktuna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Akgün Özoğuz. Akgün Özoğuz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Arif Cengiz Şükür managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cayirli JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Cengiz Şükür was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ziya Soysal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bayat's Namık Kemal Öktuna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Akgün Özoğuz. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play.

55 minutes into the match, Bayat's goalkeeper Mustafa Ali Sadiray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faik Bilgen. In the 58th minute, Arif Cengiz Şükür ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Ali Sadiray was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 61stth minute of the game Ziya Soysal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cayirli JK's Akgün Özoğuz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Cayirli JK defense, Ziya Soysal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akgün Özoğuz. The Cayirli JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akgün Özoğuz should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Arif Cengiz Şükür managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayirli JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Cengiz Şükür was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Ali Sadiray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Ziya Soysal made a precise shot to the right of Akgün Özoğuz. Cayirli JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. If Arif Cengiz Şükür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Namık Kemal Öktuna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ayberk Kızılateş during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bayat getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ayberk Kızılateş hit a great ball.
