Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) İzzettin Özcebe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes, İnanç Mirza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HİDAYET FK and the Erzurum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, HİDAYET FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İnanç Mirza to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, HİDAYET FK's Abidin Ekabir got control of the ball when Karahan Işıner tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute İzzettin Özcebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abidin Ekabir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gencalp Kırgız came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by HİDAYET FK's Pars Yoran. But to his dismay, Pars Yoran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pars Yoran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencalp Kırgız read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Karahan Işıner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Abidin Ekabir made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, HİDAYET FK's goal looked a bit too open when İzzettin Özcebe came free, but Abidin Ekabir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to HİDAYET FK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ahmet Hafiz İstanbul hit a great ball. Abidin Ekabir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karahan Işıner in the 24th minute. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Erzurum's Mehmet Ferit Çoğaş got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Abidin Ekabir. After some careless play in the Erzurum defense, İnanç Mirza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gencalp Kırgız. The Erzurum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gencalp Kırgız should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İzzettin Özcebe in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abidin Ekabir saved HİDAYET FK from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Paşa Ali Tolunbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HİDAYET FK's Pars Yoran got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Musa Durhal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Necmettin Balcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Erzurum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilmi Safir to maneuver through the defense. If Arif Gaffar Özduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Gaffar Özduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gencalp Kırgız tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Erzurum getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. İstemihan Başesgioğlu hit a great ball. Pars Yoran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İzzettin Özcebe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abidin Ekabir having to make a save. After 82 minutes of play HİDAYET FK's İnanç Mirza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 83rd match minute, HİDAYET FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İnanç Mirza to maneuver through the defense. Pars Yoran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Kırgız having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Erzurum's zone, Pars Yoran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gencalp Kırgız came out of the goal and Pars Yoran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Necmettin Balcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over HİDAYET FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Erzurum throughout the match.
