In the 45thth minute of the game Hayyam Safa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray SK's Dong Yin Wei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half GoldenBoys FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dong Yin Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayyam Safa in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sümer Belen in the 53rd minute of play forced GoldenBoys FC's goalkeeper Kadim Yörükoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, GoldenBoys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faik Kadrettin came free, but Kadim Yörükoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Demiralp Balım came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the GoldenBoys FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demiralp Balım couldn't finish the play.
