When Bektaş İskenderoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Çaltılı SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bektaş İskenderoğlu couldn't finish the play. If Stig Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Fernström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Çaltılı SK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Süruri Olcaytu charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Süruri Olcaytu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Çaltılı SK were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Gemlik's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stig Fernström took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Çaltılı SK's Bektaş İskenderoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tolga Mirac. That made the score 1-3 after 86 minutes of play. The supporters of Gemlik booed when Çaltılı SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bektaş İskenderoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Çaltılı SK's Alvise Marra got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
