Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alkan Özgun in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yavuz Selim Tunca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sami Unsur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytekin Gencal having to interfere. A hard shot 19 in the game by Bayezit Sanbay from a close distance when the talented Yavuz Selim Tunca managed to make a qualified save. VELİ PAŞA JK's players were relieved. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind VELİ PAŞA JK's goalkeeper Yavuz Selim Tunca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Atasehir got a freekick which was hit by Münir Revnak. In the 24th minute Özmen Adahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytekin Gencal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sami Unsur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aytekin Gencal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Atasehir got a freekick which was hit by Mahsun Renan. 40 minutes into the match, VELİ PAŞA JK's goal looked a bit too open when Alkan Özgun came free, but Yavuz Selim Tunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, VELİ PAŞA JK's Yavuz Selim Tunca got control of the ball when Bayezit Sanbay tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sami Unsur to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Atasehir's Alkan Özgun made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yavuz Selim Tunca was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Alkan Özgun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yavuz Selim Tunca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alkan Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sami Unsur got free with Aytekin Gencal in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yavuz Selim Tunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayezit Sanbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayezit Sanbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selim Tunca having to interfere. VELİ PAŞA JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
