That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Tacettin Çinuçin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abayhan Özdeş in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Levski Sofia getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alper Baydar hit a great ball. Birsel Aktan scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atıf Attaroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Atıf Attaroğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Levski Sofia's Birsel Aktan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st match minute, Levski Sofia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayhan Selim to maneuver through the defense. Birsel Aktan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bursa FK's Atıf Attaroğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Bursa FK from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kıvanç İplikçi during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Bursa FK got a freekick which was hit by Kıvanç İplikçi. Ali Atıf Uraltan kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Semi Akdiken in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atıf Attaroğlu saved Bursa FK from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Bursa FK's Ender Kaplan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tacettin Çinuçin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 45th minute, Cemal Dönmez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Levski Sofia's Alper Baydar tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birsel Aktan made a kick off. Tacettin Çinuçin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baki Ersal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atıf Attaroğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Semi Akdiken's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Levski Sofia's Birsel Aktan in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bursa FK's goalie prevented a goal. Atabey Timurcan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Baki Ersal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bursa FK defense, Birsel Aktan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atıf Attaroğlu. The Bursa FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atıf Attaroğlu should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baki Ersal in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tacettin Çinuçin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tacettin Çinuçin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ender Kaplan in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Bursa FK defense, Semi Akdiken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atıf Attaroğlu. The Bursa FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atıf Attaroğlu should have stopped the shot. Bursa FK's Atıf Attaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birsel Aktan in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Bursa FK's goal looked a bit too open when Semi Akdiken came free, but Atıf Attaroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bursa FK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Abayhan Özdeş hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Semi Akdiken notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Bursa FK's Atıf Attaroğlu. Atıf Attaroğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atıf Attaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birsel Aktan in the 94th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Levski Sofia's Birsel Aktan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atıf Attaroğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
