Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atak Eyüpoğlu kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Kuddusî İzzettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ersin Hürol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes of play, Mersin's Kuddusî İzzettin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ersin Hürol was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute Mehmet Osman Tunçkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ersin Hürol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Mürsel Er who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mersin's Erenay Kabakçı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kuddusî İzzettin's late challenge caught a Kula SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuddusî İzzettin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Kula SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kandemir Erendiz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Anıl Baran Ünsev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kula SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anıl Baran Ünsev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erenay Kabakçı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ersin Hürol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuddusî İzzettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Erenay Kabakçı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mürsel Er, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kandemir Erendiz in the 44th minute of play forced Mersin's goalkeeper Erenay Kabakçı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Kula SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kuddusî İzzettin came free, but Ersin Hürol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. A collision led to Kula SK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nurettin Talip hit a great ball. Kuddusî İzzettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ersin Hürol made a huge save. Erenay Kabakçı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kandemir Erendiz in the 66th minute of play. Kandemir Erendiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erenay Kabakçı having to interfere. Şadi Bayülgen charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şadi Bayülgen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Şadi Bayülgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ersin Hürol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuddusî İzzettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Kuddusî İzzettin could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Ersin Hürol however easily saved by the left post. Erenay Kabakçı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kandemir Erendiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Kula SK's Mürsel Er got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erenay Kabakçı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arın Yoran in the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mersin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mürsel Er was slow to take the kick. During this time Kula SK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mürsel Er got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erenay Kabakçı quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mürsel Er recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mürsel Er had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mersin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
