Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ataman Sara made the kick off and thus started the match. Kamuran Orcun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Özcan Niyazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ataman Sara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erhun Tozun having to make a save. Erhun Tozun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ataman Sara in the 19th minute of play. Kamuran Orcun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Niyazi in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Ulus booed when Sivas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ertunç Kızıl didn't get a good kick on the ball. İlkan Bozoğluer kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Mustafa Numan Özden notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ulus's Kamuran Orcun. Kamuran Orcun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Ulus's goal looked a bit too open when Abdullatif Yumlu came free, but Kamuran Orcun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ulus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sivas were winning 1-2.

In the 53rd minute Gazanfer Özcan Niyazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamuran Orcun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Numan Özden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mustafa Numan Özden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Kamuran Orcun made a huge save. Kamuran Orcun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdullatif Yumlu in the 81st minute. Ertunç Kızıl's late challenge caught a Ulus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ertunç Kızıl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Ertunç Kızıl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erhun Tozun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ataman Sara, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Sivas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdullatif Yumlu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ataman Sara in the 96th minute of play forced Sivas's goalkeeper Erhun Tozun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
