Erhun Tozun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Mustafa Numan Özden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüseyin Cahit Bayram was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 17 minutes, Abdullatif Yumlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sivas and the KIRMIZI SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Sivas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertunç Kızıl to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in KIRMIZI SPOR's zone, Ali Emir Özekan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With his leg Erhun Tozun managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when KIRMIZI SPOR's Çetin Mecit fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The KIRMIZI SPOR fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when KIRMIZI SPOR's Beyhan Hallaçoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aktan Ongu charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aktan Ongu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aktan Ongu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Çetin Mecit made a precise shot to the right of Erhun Tozun. Sivas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gazanfer Özcan Niyazi made a kick off. When KIRMIZI SPOR's Beyhan Hallaçoğlu in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mustafa Numan Özden's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hüseyin Cahit Bayram firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ali Emir Özekan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sivas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Emir Özekan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erhun Tozun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beyhan Hallaçoğlu in the 84th minute of play. Gazanfer Özcan Niyazi succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-5. Hüseyin Cahit Bayram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Niyazi in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KIRMIZI SPOR's goalkeeper Hüseyin Cahit Bayram, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd play minute Mustafa Numan Özden came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hüseyin Cahit Bayram. 3-6. The KIRMIZI SPOR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sivas's performance. The match ended with a win for Sivas.
