Tolga Semdin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tolga Semdin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nejat Ersavaş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 22 played minutes Ulus got a freekick which was hit by Ataman Sara. Arda Ozan Turaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arda Ozan Turaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, ESPİYESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Sermet Özdel came free, but Nejat Ersavaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Dündar Yağın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESPİYESPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in ESPİYESPOR's zone, Tolga Semdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nejat Ersavaş came out of the goal and Tolga Semdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arda Ozan Turaç was the one to do the kick off. Kamuran Orcun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dündar Yağın, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd match minute, Ulus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Han Tutkun to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Arda Ozan Turaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Dündar Yağın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolga Semdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nejat Ersavaş having to interfere. Seyhun Onursoy kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Seyhun Onursoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESPİYESPOR and the Ulus players grew even worse after the yellow card. 63 minutes into the game, one of ESPİYESPOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 87th minute, Seyhun Onursoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamuran Orcun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dündar Yağın, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Ulus's Bora Han Tutkun got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Cem Tecer came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the ESPİYESPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cem Tecer couldn't finish the play.
