Kerim Kilic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kudret Ulağ in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezer Açıkgöz in the 8th minute of play forced Per Aspera ad Astra's goalkeeper Gaffar Sarik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hadi Yılkan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Sezer Açıkgöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaffar Sarik having to interfere. Kerim Kilic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yetkin Uçanok's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Hadi Yılkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaffar Sarik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sezer Açıkgöz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaffar Sarik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Kerim Kilic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yetkin Uçanok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Hadi Yılkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. 51Niğde's supporters rose to their feet, but Hadi Yılkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaffar Sarik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Okanalp İpekçi charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Okanalp İpekçi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Per Aspera ad Astra getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Okanalp İpekçi hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Per Aspera ad Astra's goal looked a bit too open when Sezer Açıkgöz came free, but Gaffar Sarik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hadi Yılkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of 51Niğde booed when Per Aspera ad Astra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Namık Hasret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezer Açıkgöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaffar Sarik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sezer Açıkgöz ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sezer Açıkgöz to make the kick off. Gaffar Sarik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hadi Yılkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Sezer Açıkgöz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaffar Sarik was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Per Aspera ad Astra's Mustafa Namık Hasret got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Hadi Yılkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Sarik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sezer Açıkgöz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Per Aspera ad Astra's goalkeeper Gaffar Sarik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Sezer Açıkgöz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaffar Sarik. Per Aspera ad Astra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sezer Açıkgöz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
