Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teofilo Llorca took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Karaca got a freekick which was hit by Keramettin İdrisoğlu. In the 6th minute, Arif Memduh Dağhan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdurrezzak Kınay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Llorca in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdurrezzak Kınay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bengt-Arne Tönnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdurrezzak Kınay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Llorca in the 12th minute of play. Abdurrezzak Kınay had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Arif Memduh Dağhan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Bengt-Arne Tönnberg fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray SK's protests and gave Bengt-Arne Tönnberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Bengt-Arne Tönnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdurrezzak Kınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Llorca in the 27th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Teofilo Llorca made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Karaca's Abdurrezzak Kınay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teofilo Llorca might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdurrezzak Kınay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Llorca ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Karaca's zone, Teofilo Llorca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdurrezzak Kınay came out of the goal and Teofilo Llorca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cabbar Ayvaz's late challenge caught a Galatasaray SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cabbar Ayvaz helped the player get up and apologised. Cabbar Ayvaz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Abdurrezzak Kınay came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray SK's Bengt-Arne Tönnberg. But to his dismay, Bengt-Arne Tönnberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Abdurrezzak Kınay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Llorca's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Abdurrezzak Kınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Llorca in the 43rd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akın Rafiz made a kick off. Teofilo Llorca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Berker Rıza Gencay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatasaray SK the free kick. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when Karaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Rıza Gencay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Baki Canbek during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Baki Canbek. Galatasaray SK's Osman Ali Şener shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abdurrezzak Kınay but with some difficulty. Keramettin İdrisoğlu's late challenge caught a Galatasaray SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keramettin İdrisoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Karaca's Keramettin İdrisoğlu got a free kick in the 70th minute. Arif Memduh Dağhan struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Abdurrezzak Kınay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray SK. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Teofilo Llorca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Llorca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdurrezzak Kınay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arif Memduh Dağhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Abdurrezzak Kınay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Aykut Sadun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ahmet Baki Canbek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Ahmet Baki Canbek hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match Akın Rafiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Vargas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teofilo Llorca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Abdurrezzak Kınay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdurrezzak Kınay didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. After 93 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Llorca. In the 95th match minute, Karaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykut Sadun to maneuver through the defense. The Karaca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galatasaray SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
