The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aytaç Neşet in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hazım Özgenc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind AĞRI SPOR's goalkeeper Hazım Özgenc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aytaç Neşet got in the 14th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hazım Özgenc handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mehmet Hamdi Değirmencioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturalp Sunullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baturalp Sunullah struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Mehmet Hamdi Değirmencioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AĞRI SPOR. Oyak JK's Mehmet Hamdi Değirmencioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturalp Sunullah in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Oyak JK's goalkeeper Mehmet Hamdi Değirmencioğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baturalp Sunullah. When Şerif Polatkan fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oyak JK's protests and gave Şerif Polatkan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Oyak JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şerif Polatkan to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, AĞRI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Aytaç Neşet came free, but Hazım Özgenc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilla Tarkan Özgulec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mehmet Hamdi Değirmencioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baturalp Sunullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Alperen Seccac charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alperen Seccac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Alperen Seccac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kubilay İdil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hazım Özgenc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aytaç Neşet in the 61st minute. When Aytaç Neşet came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Oyak JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytaç Neşet couldn't finish the play. In the 71stth minute of the game Aytaç Neşet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AĞRI SPOR's Hazım Özgenc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kubilay İdil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hazım Özgenc having to interfere. Aytaç Neşet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Hazım Özgenc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, AĞRI SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Tarkan Özgulec to maneuver through the defense. Atilla Tarkan Özgulec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
