The supporters of AĞRI SPOR booed when MERT-SU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçen Evcimen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Baturalp Sunullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baturalp Sunullah in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saffet Cenger saved MERT-SU from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Baturalp Sunullah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hazım Özgenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçen Evcimen, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in AĞRI SPOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Hazım Özgenc, was totally fooled by MERT-SU's Oğuz Mülayim, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. AĞRI SPOR's Yücel Özdilek shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saffet Cenger but with some difficulty. The supporters of MERT-SU booed when AĞRI SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedri Akdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saffet Cenger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturalp Sunullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes, Cafer Subahi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AĞRI SPOR and the MERT-SU players grew even worse after the yellow card. AĞRI SPOR's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MERT-SU had won, even though AĞRI SPOR had held more of the ball.
