Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gökçen Evcimen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MERT-SU's zone, Uluç Ubeydullah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saffet Cenger came out of the goal and Uluç Ubeydullah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Veysel Erdesir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 15 played minutes Bandırmaspor got a freekick which was hit by Aygün Talu. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Mustafa Birol Erem got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 21 minutes into the game, Serter Togan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saffet Cenger. Serter Togan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aygün Talu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serter Togan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Uluç Ubeydullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saffet Cenger having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Uluç Ubeydullah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandırmaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Uluç Ubeydullah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saffet Cenger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Uluç Ubeydullah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saffet Cenger was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Serter Togan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Serter Togan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind MERT-SU's goalkeeper Saffet Cenger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Serter Togan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uluç Ubeydullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Saffet Cenger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saffet Cenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uluç Ubeydullah in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Serter Togan notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of MERT-SU's Saffet Cenger. Saffet Cenger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the game, Ali Orhan Rıfkı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandırmaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MERT-SU the free kick. Ali Orhan Rıfkı hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bandırmaspor made a substitution. İbrahim Efe Türk replaced Ali Orhan Rıfkı. Saffet Cenger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uluç Ubeydullah in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game İbrahim Efe Türk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MERT-SU's Saffet Cenger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MERT-SU's Saffet Cenger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Birol Erem in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Uluç Ubeydullah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saffet Cenger was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Mustafa Birol Erem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saffet Cenger having to make a save. When Mustafa Birol Erem fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandırmaspor's protests and gave Mustafa Birol Erem a yellow card for diving instead. Mustafa Birol Erem kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Bandırmaspor got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Birol Erem. Uluç Ubeydullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After 90 minutes, Songurbey Eski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MERT-SU and the Bandırmaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uluç Ubeydullah struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Saffet Cenger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandırmaspor. Uluç Ubeydullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saffet Cenger having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Bandırmaspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
