Behzat İsmail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şerif Akyol in the 11th minute of the match. Atahan Şemsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Samsunspor FK got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Wennersten. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Şerif Akyol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camliyayla SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerif Akyol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Behzat İsmail breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yavuz Selimhan Canel in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamdi Gürtuna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamdi Gürtuna made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Urbano Quexal sent off a good shot on target. Şerif Akyol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Yavuz Selimhan Canel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamdi Gürtuna, 1-0. If Atahan Şemsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Şerif Akyol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Behzat İsmail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yavuz Selimhan Canel to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Yavuz Selimhan Canel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamdi Gürtuna was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. If Batıhan Atılay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
