Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Afyon's Tuna Başhekim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Yavuz Selimhan Canel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aybar Necmi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Samsunspor FK's Urbano Quexal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aybar Necmi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 11th match minute, Samsunspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batıhan Atılay to maneuver through the defense. Batıhan Atılay might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aybar Necmi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batıhan Atılay ran back to his position shaking his head. Aybar Necmi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuz Selimhan Canel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Emiliano Hanot notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Afyon's Aybar Necmi. Aybar Necmi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Afyon's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Selimhan Canel came free, but Aybar Necmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Samsunspor FK's Batıhan Atılay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aybar Necmi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Quexal in the 33rd minute of play forced Afyon's goalkeeper Aybar Necmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Behzat İsmail was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Tuna Başhekim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tuna Başhekim really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. 2-5 became the score in the 45th minute when Urbano Quexal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Afyon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Samsunspor FK were winning 2-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yavuz Selimhan Canel to strike the kick off in the second half. Batıhan Atılay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybar Necmi having to interfere. Emiliano Hanot was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Samsunspor FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 54 played minutes Samsunspor FK got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Wennersten. Talha Nazır, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Afyon's Kamber Tezcan got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Afyon's Aybar Necmi got control of the ball when Yavuz Selimhan Canel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Emiliano Hanot took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Aybar Necmi to make any attempt to save it. Urbano Quexal succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-7. Behzat İsmail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Münir İlkay, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Quexal got free with Aybar Necmi in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aybar Necmi was a little too slow when Emiliano Hanot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Urbano Quexal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aybar Necmi. That made the score 2-9 in the 93 minute of play. Samsunspor FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
