Atay Ciner came out of the goal and Hazım Sabri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of erzurumspor booed when Dikilitas SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferman Esendağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Halim Biçim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. erzurumspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dikilitas SK the free kick. The supporters of erzurumspor booed when Dikilitas SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eşref Tekiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Anıl Dervişoğlu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Serdar Cezlan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hazım Sabri to strike the kick off in the second half. Atay Ciner made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Hazım Sabri sent off a good shot on target. Ziya Derdiyok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atay Ciner having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Emirşah Şahkar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dikilitas SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emirşah Şahkar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serdar Cezlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hazım Sabri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Dikilitas SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferman Esendağ to maneuver through the defense. Bayhan Uğuralp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serdar Cezlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to erzurumspor getting a freekick after 95 minutes play.
