Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mehmet Anıl Tezer kicked off to start the match. Talha Zabit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kudret Özcan in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Veli İksir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talha Zabit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kudret Özcan in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kudret Özcan in the 15th minute of play forced Yatagan's goalkeeper Talha Zabit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, ankaragüçü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yücel Payidar to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Yatagan's Bektaş Veli İnan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Yatagan's Mehmet Anıl Tezer in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ankaragüçü's goalie prevented a goal. Yatagan's Talha Zabit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şener Ayvaz in the 30th minute of play. Acar Akkın was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Mehmet Anıl Tezer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mehmet Anıl Tezer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Şahin Eker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Okanay Diclehan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bektaş Veli İnan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Özcan Ünveren came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ankaragüçü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özcan Ünveren couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özcan Ünveren to strike the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Kudret Özcan in the 51stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Talha Zabit had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Kılıçhan Uzhan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Kılıçhan Uzhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, ankaragüçü's goal looked a bit too open when Zaid Balcı came free, but Acar Akkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şahin Eker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talha Zabit was a little too slow when Özcan Ünveren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-1. When ankaragüçü's Özcan Ünveren in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yatagan's goalie prevented a goal. After 69 played minutes Yatagan got a freekick which was hit by Kılıçhan Uzhan. With 72 minutes on the clock, Suavi Tekalp commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Veli İksir shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Özcan Ünverens short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Talha Zabit to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 90 minutes into the game, Oktay Akergin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yatagan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ankaragüçü the free kick. Oktay Akergin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Şahin Eker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Talha Zabit. The goal made the score 1-2. The ankaragüçü supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ankaragüçü would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
