After 23 minutes of play, Kiziltepe's Türkeş Özçevik made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nusrettin Seyfullah was left in no man's land by his defense there! Necmi Kiray struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nusrettin Seyfullah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiziltepe. If Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Kiziltepe's Kandemir Dikici got control of the ball when Göktuğ Çelikkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Yaman Taşkıner came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Kiziltepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaman Taşkıner couldn't finish the play. Nusrettin Seyfullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Nusrettin Seyfullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Özçevik in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Necmi Kiray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nusrettin Seyfullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Özçevik, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 48th minute, Vural Tacal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı was the one to do the kick off. Alparslan Parsbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kandemir Dikici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necmi Kiray was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Kiziltepe's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Ömür Lütfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Asım Safih in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kandemir Dikici saved Kiziltepe from getting behind. When Alparslan Parsbay was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. In the 95th match minute, Lüleburgaz FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alparslan Parsbay to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiziltepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nusrettin Seyfullah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiziltepe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
