Barbaros Başöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atacan Balcıoğlu having to interfere. If Sezai Balkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, İzmir FC's goal looked a bit too open when Muharrem Riva came free, but Demir Arısal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Barbaros Başöz could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Atacan Balcıoğlu however easily saved by the left post. Barbaros Başöz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Atacan Balcıoğlu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barbaros Başöz scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atacan Balcıoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Alucra's goalkeeper Atacan Balcıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barbaros Başöz. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emir İlksel made a kick off. With a little luck, İzmir FC's Demir Arısal got control of the ball when Sezai Balkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atacan Balcıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilgin Özertem in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alucra's zone, Barbaros Başöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atacan Balcıoğlu came out of the goal and Barbaros Başöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kemalettin Eker charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kemalettin Eker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muharrem Riva shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 66 minutes into the match, İzmir FC's goalkeeper Demir Arısal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sezai Balkan. Atacan Balcıoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barbaros Başöz went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barbaros Başöz in the 71st minute of play forced Alucra's goalkeeper Atacan Balcıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atacan Balcıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir İlksel in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Alucra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muharrem Riva to maneuver through the defense. Alucra's Atacan Balcıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barbaros Başöz in the 80th minute of play. Atacan Balcıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir İlksel in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Emir İlksel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atacan Balcıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Emir İlksel in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 89 minutes into the match, Alucra's goal looked a bit too open when Binali Dilazad came free, but Atacan Balcıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muharrem Riva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Sezai Balkan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of İzmir FC's Demir Arısal. Demir Arısal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Emir İlksel came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the İzmir FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emir İlksel couldn't finish the play.
