In the 18th minute, Bahattin Cevar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gazanfer Özcan Aksungur came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Özvatan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gazanfer Özcan Aksungur couldn't finish the play. Suphi Demircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferid Nazım in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Mazgirt FK were awarded a corner. Arif Cengiz Salat went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 33rd minute of the match Arif Cengiz Salat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Suphi Demircan skillfully saved the ball. Suphi Demircan came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mazgirt FK's Ulaş Suheyl. But to his dismay, Ulaş Suheyl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 39th minute Müjdat Balcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suphi Demircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suphi Demircan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulaş Suheyl in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Duran Doğulu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Özvatan got a freekick which was hit by Cem Durkaya. 54 minutes into the match, Özvatan's goal looked a bit too open when Ferid Nazım came free, but Suphi Demircan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes, Gürkan Taygun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazgirt FK and the Özvatan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gürkan Taygun kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Ulaş Suheyl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Suphi Demircan. Özvatan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulaş Suheyl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 67th minute Ferid Nazım shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suphi Demircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulaş Suheyl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Suphi Demircan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Özvatan defense, Ferid Nazım kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Suphi Demircan. The Özvatan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Suphi Demircan should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Necmettin Nejat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Suphi Demircan was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Suphi Demircan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferid Nazım went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Çakır Irak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Doğulu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 89 played minutes, Mazgirt FK's Arif Cengiz Salat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Suphi Demircan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mazgirt FK reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferid Nazım in the 90th minute of play forced Özvatan's goalkeeper Suphi Demircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suphi Demircan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferid Nazım, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ulaş Suheyl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Özvatan's Suphi Demircan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Mazgirt FK were the better team. Mazgirt FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
