After a defensive mix-up in Saray's zone, Mehmet Hamdi Öztarhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barbaros Mevlit came out of the goal and Mehmet Hamdi Öztarhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Saray booed when Güzelel SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfullah Uğurlubay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emir Gilşah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevdet Pekol couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Saray's zone, Suat Kayı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barbaros Mevlit came out of the goal and Suat Kayı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Barbaros Mevlit managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Güzelel SK's Mehmet Hamdi Öztarhan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Suat Kayı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Barbaros Mevlit made a huge save. The corner led Güzelel SK's Yakup Nurkan to fire away a dangerous shot which Barbaros Mevlit despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Saray's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Hamdi Öztarhan came free, but Barbaros Mevlit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barbaros Mevlit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Hamdi Öztarhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Hamdi Öztarhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Barbaros Mevlit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barbaros Mevlit was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehmet Hamdi Öztarhan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 97 minute of play. Güzelel SK played a much better game than Saray and deserved their victory. The Saray players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
