Gökçe Revnak struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Okaner Rezan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malatyaspor JK. Cevdet Baykurt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rahmi Irgat. In the 8th minute Taci Erozan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okaner Rezan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ege Baştürk charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ege Baştürk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Batıkent FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ege Baştürk to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Göktuğ Geylanoğullarından missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 12 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Okaner Rezan right hand side. Batıkent FK's Aras Durukan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Aras Durukan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Malatyaspor JK's Cevdet Baykurt. Cevdet Baykurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gökçe Revnak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Okaner Rezan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şadi Kerim in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Behram Uğurtan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malatyaspor JK's Cevdet Baykurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakabey Niğdeli in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor JK's goal looked a bit too open when Aras Durukan came free, but Cevdet Baykurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rahmi Irgat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevdet Baykurt having to interfere. Şadi Kerim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Okaner Rezan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Malatyaspor JK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mustafa Ali Atılay hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Mustafa Ali Atılay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 44 in the game by Aras Durukan from a close distance when the talented Cevdet Baykurt managed to make a qualified save. Malatyaspor JK's players were relieved. In the 45th minute, Batıkent FK's Çakabey Niğdeli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cevdet Baykurt. Cevdet Baykurt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Aras Durukan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malatyaspor JK's Cevdet Baykurt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Batıkent FK's Okaner Rezan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şadi Kerim in the 56th minute of play. Cevdet Baykurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Durukan in the 58th minute of play. Cevdet Baykurt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aras Durukan's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Batıkent FK's Aras Durukan in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malatyaspor JK's goalie prevented a goal. After 65 minutes, Mustafa Ali Atılay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malatyaspor JK and the Batıkent FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Malatyaspor JK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Ali Atılay. The Batıkent FK fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Batıkent FK's Aras Durukan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Çakabey Niğdeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Malatyaspor JK's Mustafa Ali Atılay got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Mustafa Ali Atılay off the ground. In the 79th minute, Mustafa Ali Atılay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cevdet Baykurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Durukan in the 82nd minute of play. If Aras Durukan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Çakabey Niğdeli came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Batıkent FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çakabey Niğdeli couldn't finish the play. Malatyaspor JK's Cevdet Baykurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Durukan in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Behram Uğurtan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ege Baştürk got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 95th match minute, Batıkent FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ege Baştürk to maneuver through the defense. Malatyaspor JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
