Nurtekin Nebi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halit Ziya Tuğkun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Nurtekin Nebi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Halit Ziya Tuğkun made a huge save. With a little luck, Gerger's Birol Bucak got control of the ball when Hayati Denizalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gerger's goalkeeper Birol Bucak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hayati Denizalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Birol Bucak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hayati Denizalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oğuzkan Enginer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Birol Bucak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hayati Denizalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Birol Bucak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ilgin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
