Abdulmelik Tekinay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Bedri Zorbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Anıl Arda Hacılar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Nafiz Sağun in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Yildizeli FK's Faruk Nafiz Sağun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Fikirtepe getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mehmet Ediz Baybars hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Fikirtepe's Mehmet Bedri Zorbey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulmelik Tekinay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yildizeli FK's goalkeeper Abdulmelik Tekinay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Doğuhan Akabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulmelik Tekinay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Cumhur Cezri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st match minute, Yildizeli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kürşat Yalçınkaya to maneuver through the defense. Abdullatif Erboğa might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Arda Hacılar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, Yildizeli FK's Abdulmelik Tekinay got control of the ball when Doğuhan Akabe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Fikirtepe booed when Yildizeli FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kürşat Yalçınkaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Bedri Zorbey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Abdulmelik Tekinay made a huge save. Abdullatif Erboğa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anıl Arda Hacılar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Faruk Nafiz Sağun might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Arda Hacılar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faruk Nafiz Sağun ran back to his position shaking his head. Faruk Nafiz Sağun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anıl Arda Hacılar having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdullatif Erboğa in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anıl Arda Hacılar saved Fikirtepe from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Mutlu Doğa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Bedri Zorbey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdulmelik Tekinay having to make a save. Anıl Arda Hacılar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Nafiz Sağun in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Hasan Çelik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Uğurcan Balkan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yildizeli FK's Abdulmelik Tekinay didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Yildizeli FK's Mutlu Doğa got a free kick in the 74th minute. Abdulmelik Tekinay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doğuhan Akabe in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faruk Nafiz Sağun in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anıl Arda Hacılar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anıl Arda Hacılar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faruk Nafiz Sağun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Yildizeli FK got a freekick which was hit by Faruk Nafiz Sağun. Doğuhan Akabe in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdulmelik Tekinay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anıl Arda Hacılar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faruk Nafiz Sağun's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Anıl Arda Hacılar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdullatif Erboğa, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Abdullatif Erboğa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
