Yıldıray Yeltekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faruk Nafiz Sağun, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Yildizeli FK's goalkeeper Abdulmelik Tekinay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bayezit Can. 14 minutes into the match, Baskale's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Nafiz Sağun came free, but Yıldıray Yeltekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mutlu Doğa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kürşat Yalçınkaya in the 22nd minute of play forced Baskale's goalkeeper Yıldıray Yeltekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hadi Safir struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Abdulmelik Tekinay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baskale. After 29 played minutes Yildizeli FK got a freekick which was hit by Mutlu Doğa. Hadi Safir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Abdulmelik Tekinay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Baskale's Hadi Safir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdulmelik Tekinay. That made the score 1-1 after 37 minutes of play. A collision led to Yildizeli FK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mutlu Doğa hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Mutlu Doğa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faruk Nafiz Sağun to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Yildizeli FK's Kürşat Yalçınkaya got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Bayezit Can who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yildizeli FK's Abdulmelik Tekinay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bayezit Can's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulmelik Tekinay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Yildizeli FK's Mutlu Doğa got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Mutlu Doğa off the ground. Mutlu Doğa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Abdullatif Erboğa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yildizeli FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Kürşat Yalçınkaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Yeltekin having to interfere. Abdulmelik Tekinay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayezit Can, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayezit Can in the 93rd minute of play forced Yildizeli FK's goalkeeper Abdulmelik Tekinay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Yildizeli FK's Faruk Nafiz Sağun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Baskale supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yildizeli FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Yildizeli FK.
