The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Yaman Çakmur got a free kick in the 4th minute. Atakan Kayral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Özgün Hamurcu made a huge save. If Hasret Tansu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Atakan Kayral notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Özgün Hamurcu. Özgün Hamurcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutay Tanören in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaman Çakmur to maneuver through the defense. Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Ozan Suni in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gariban Altyapı's Ahmet Ali Hamurcuoğlu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Türkeş Batüralp took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bektaş Uçanok. Bektaş Uçanok dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Türkeş Batüralp in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bektaş Uçanok saved Gariban Altyapı from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Ergönül hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Sacit Kayraalp hit a great ball. Hasret Tansu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bektaş Uçanok having to interfere. Özgün Hamurcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fazıl Hüsnü Ergönül in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goalkeeper Özgün Hamurcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Ozan Suni. After some careless play in the Gariban Altyapı defense, Hasret Tansu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bektaş Uçanok. The Gariban Altyapı fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bektaş Uçanok should have stopped the shot. After the first half MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atakan Kayral made a kick off. Özgün Hamurcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atakan Kayral, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the game, Fazıl Hüsnü Ergönül cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Özgün Hamurcu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kutay Tanören in the 63rd minute of play forced MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goalkeeper Özgün Hamurcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özgün Hamurcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Ozan Suni, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Hasret Tansu in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Gariban Altyapı fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 71 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Ozan Suni came free, but Özgün Hamurcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gariban Altyapı:s goal. The referee gave Gariban Altyapı a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fazıl Hüsnü Ergönül, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Özgün Hamurcu. 4-2. 76 minutes into the game, Gariban Altyapı's Kutay Tanören nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Özgün Hamurcu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Sufi Akdoğ hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Rıdvan Özakın came free, but Özgün Hamurcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Türkeş Batüralp kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Hasret Tansu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Sacit Kayraalp hit a great ball. Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atakan Kayral in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gariban Altyapı had played much better football throughout.
