Fenerbahçe's Tamer Civan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe from getting a goal against them. If Birant Eroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tamer Civan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Egespor's Rudy Pérus shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Kutlu Şenel's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kutlu Şenel helped the player get up and apologised. Tamer Civan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudy Pérus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Egespor had played much better football throughout.
