Pütürge's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıfkı Açar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özgün Hamurcu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sungurbey Olcaytu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Özgün Hamurcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıfkı Açar in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Atabey Babür came free, but Özgün Hamurcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rıfkı Açar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Rıfkı Açar took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Özgün Hamurcu to make any attempt to save it. Atabey Babür kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Rıfkı Açar fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pütürge's protests and gave Rıfkı Açar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Pütürge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıfkı Açar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pütürge booed when MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sufi Akdoğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birol Türköne's late challenge caught a Pütürge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birol Türköne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Birol Türköne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Behzat Cebeci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pütürge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behzat Cebeci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pütürge's Rıfkı Açar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Özgün Hamurcu. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rıfkı Açar was the one to do the kick off. Behzat Cebeci's late challenge caught a MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. No goal. 71 minutes into the match, Pütürge's goal looked a bit too open when Hasret Tansu came free, but Turan Akdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Behzat Cebeci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Hamurcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Sungurbey Olcaytu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rıfkı Açar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Özgün Hamurcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özgün Hamurcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behzat Cebeci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cihat Yavuzcan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Rıfkı Açar took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özgün Hamurcu. Özgün Hamurcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 100 minutes of play, Pütürge's Behzat Cebeci made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özgün Hamurcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pütürge walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
