Spectators: 7335 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 10) Nevsehir's Emirhan Energin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Burak Zübeyir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nevsehir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Özgün Hamurcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emirhan Energin in the 8th minute of play. Özgün Hamurcu came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Nevsehir's Anıl Zevahir. But to his dismay, Anıl Zevahir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 13th minute Anıl Zevahir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Hamurcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özgün Hamurcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burak Zübeyir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özgün Hamurcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burak Zübeyir, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Türkeş Batüralp to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes, Nevsehir's Hüseyin Can Ragıp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Özgün Hamurcu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nevsehir reached it. In the 31st minute, Burak Zübeyir made a precise shot to the right of Özgün Hamurcu. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Sufi Akdoğ got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özgün Hamurcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burak Zübeyir, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Özgün Hamurcu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emirhan Energin went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Burak Zübeyir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Özgün Hamurcu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hasret Tansu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aycan Başay in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Yaman Çakmur collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Burak Zübeyir fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nevsehir's protests and gave Burak Zübeyir a yellow card for diving instead. Burak Zübeyir hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aycan Başay in the 59th minute of play forced MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goalkeeper Özgün Hamurcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet İlke Karasu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Özgün Hamurcu got control of the ball when Burak Zübeyir tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aycan Başay in the 82nd minute of play forced MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goalkeeper Özgün Hamurcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emirhan Energin scored 0-7 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özgün Hamurcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Nevsehir's Özgün Hamurcu threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aycan Başay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sufi Akdoğ kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Aycan Başay scored to the left of an out of position Özgün Hamurcu, making the score, 0-8. Nevsehir's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
